Utricularia sandersonii, Sanderson's Bladderwort, is a perennial, terrestrial bladderwort with bursts of lavender and white flowers. The upper petals have two earlike lobes, and the rounded lower skirt has face like markings, giving the flower a darling bunny like look. It has a long spur that curves forward and under the blossom. It prefers sandy peat that is constantly moist.  It has subterranean stems that form numerous small leaves (<1/2"), that cover the soil surface. The tiny bladder traps form in the soil, and catch small creatures, like ciliates and nematodes. The flower stalks are tall and hold as many as 6 flowers. It flowers throughout the year, but rarely produces seed. It is a vigorous grower, and a great beginner's plant.
